ABOUT ME

Alexis Oser is a freelance multimedia journalist. She graduated from Indiana University in May 2020 with 2 degrees and a minor. With a number of varying interests, she earned a B.A. in Media, with a concentration in sports writing, and a minor in photojournalism, as well as a B.A. in Spanish Linguistics during her four years in Bloomington. Her favorite memories include her experiences with broadcasting, writing, filming, podcasting and photographing different stories all over the Midwest. Her images can be found in AP, The Herald Times, MiLB, The Baltimore Sun and the Indiana Daily Student. Her picture story, “Bringing Hinkle’s Back,” was nominated to the 2021 Hearst Competition and won third place in the Best Photo Essay category in the 2021 Indiana Collegiate Press Association’s Newspaper Division 1 competition.
